THE SOL COHN AWARD
Section Award presented for service to the lighting field. The Sol Cohn Award was created by the Golden Gate Section to honor Sol Cohn, a long time member of the Section and president of the section in 1950 and 1951. Sol was the Specification Manager and an officer of California Electric Supply. He was a major influence on lighting work in Bay area. This award has come to be associated with service to the lighting field or design and was first presented in 1979.
